Civic MTF change

1. Put a small pan underneath the fill bolt because some pours out. Remove the fill bolt and its washer.
2. Put at least a 2 quart container underneath the drain bolt. Slowly remove the drain bolt and its washer. Let the old oil drain into the container.

3. Level the car front-to-back and side-to-side.
4. Install the drain bolt with a new washer and torque it to XX N*m.
5. Stick a tube into the fill hole and attach a funnel to the tube in the engine bay.

6. Slowly pour 1.9 US quarts of new MTF into the funnel's sides so it doesn't make lots of bubbles. Make sure there are no leaks between the funnel and tube and that all the fluid is entering the transmission.
7. Install the fill bolt with a new washer and torque it to XX N*m.

70 cm long, 35cm each step. Raises the car 8cm under the front wheels which is plenty height for me to change oil, oil filter. I can crawl under the entire front half of my car. Used old deck boards.

Mounted it inside an RCA satellite dish. I used a metal bowl before I had RCA dish but didnt work as good.

Grub2 install

After booting from LiveCD:
sudo fdisk -l
sudo mount /dev/sdXY /mnt
sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/sdX

where X is letter of harddrive and Y is partion number.

Corolla lower control arm replacement

My friend and I replaced his 1999 Corolla(E110, 8th gen)'s lower control/suspension arm. He slammed into a curb or something which warped his factory control arm causing the wheel to be angled to where it was rubbing inside the wheel well.
